Adopting a collaborative approach to coaching an ambitious leader, with substantial professional status and management responsibilities, within the Justice Sector proved to be beneficial to both coachee and coach. Providing reflective space and being able to listen to the complexity of challenges facing today’s leaders, and then encouraging the coachee to structure a plan to achieve their aspirations while aligned to strategic goals enables real satisfaction and value.  The evidence based approach to creating an effective personal/professional development plan was supported by feedback from an EQi diagnostic instrument.
